Our Aberfeldy hotel consists of delightful hotel accommodation which has recently undergone a full refurbishment and now consists of a selection of 26 luxurious rooms, made up of family suites, romantic doubles, twins and single occupancy rooms providing something to suit everyone.
The hotel has a separate leisure complex, includes an indoor heated pool, steam room, solarium, snooker room, as well as a bar and choice of two restaurants so there is plenty to do whilst enjoying your hotel break in Perthshire.
In addition to the hotel accommodation there is a selection of luxury one, two and three bedroom self-catering cottages, many with views overlooking the magnificent Aberfeldy Hills. Fully equipped and furnished , these cottages have attained Scottish Tourist Board 4 star grading and RCI Gold Crown Award. We are delighted to announce that our lovely Moness House Hotel has opened
its doors again after an extensive refurbishment programme. We would like
to welcome back our existing customers and extend a warm welcome to new
guests looking for a lovely relaxing stay with us here in Aberfeldy, Perthshire.
The historic Hotel, originally a hunting lodge dating from 1758 re-opened
on 1st November 2008 and care has been taken to ensure the Hotel has been
refurbished to the standards required to meet Scottish Tourist Board 4
star grading.
No two hotel rooms are identical, with differing views, room sizes, floor
levels, ceiling heights and location. While all rooms are furnished to
the highest standard, certain rooms are a bit more special than others
so to differentiate them we have categorised them below.

Deluxe Hotel Rooms *These lovely rooms have been decorated
to the standard expected to achieve 4 star Scottish Tourist Board standards.
Choose from double, twin or single occupancy rooms. These rooms are popular
with guest's visiting the area on business, corporate groups as well as
guests attending weddings at Moness.
Superior Hotel Rooms *Like the deluxe rooms these have all been decorated
to the highest standards required to achieve Scottish Tourist Board 4
star standard. These rooms are deemed superior due to the high demand
for their location, size or quirky shape. No two rooms are identical so
these rooms have individual qualities that make them superior to the average
room.
Individual Experience Rooms & Suites*As the name suggests these really
are special with each having something a little bit different:Room 6 is
a romantic room with views over the lawn and ancient cedar tree. This
room includes a mahogony French style hand carved bed and has a Victorian
bathroom ensuite, (lovingly restored from the original hotel) making it
a perfect honeymoon suite or just the thing for guests celebrating a special
anniversary.
The Garden Suites are ideal for disabled guests and their carers or for
families with young children as they are situated on ground level, with
a lock-off facility between suites if required.The Top of the House Suites
situated on the top floor of the original building have lots of character
and charm. They also have a separate sitting room where children can be
accommodated, making these perfect family suites

ACCOMMODATION - COTTAGES
Moness has a selection of luxury one, two and three bedroom self-catering
cottages set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, many with views
overlooking the magnificent Aberfeldy Hills. Our Perthshire holiday cottages
are fully furnished an equipped and are ideal accommodation for a family
break in Scotland. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom holiday cottages are available.
With access to all our dining and eisure facilities, including the heated
swimming pool there is plenty to do within the Moness resort. With the
Aberfeldy countryside and Perthshire highlands on your doorstep there
are a range of activities and attractions to enjoy using a Moness holiday
cottage as a base.
These cottages are fully equipped and furnished to the high standards required to meet Scottish Tourist Board 4 star grading and RCI Gold Crown award. All our properties are non-smoking.
Garden Wynd Cottages Due to the success of the popular
Courtyard Cottages at Moness and the high demand for these superior quality
units, a new development of cottages, called Garden Wynd were built in
2007 in a style similar to that of the Courtyard. Holiday Cottage Location:
Aberfeldy, Perthshire.These comprise of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages all
4 star Scottish Tourist Board rated.
Gate Lodge Cottages Gate Lodge Cottages were also built
in 2007 and comprise of 3 high quality cottages in 2 and 3 bedroom sizes.
The Gate Lodge Cottages are surrounded by trees and woodland and are quite
private, making them ideal cottages for guests looking for peace and tranquility

The Courtyard Cottages at Moness The original farm courtyard
buildings were replaced in 2004 with our brand new courtyard cottages
that retain the character of the original building but are now fully refurbished
and furnished to the high standards expected to meet RCI Gold Crown and
Scottish Tourist Board 4 star standards. There is a mixture of one, two
and three bedroom cottages, many with views overlooking the magnificent
Aberfeldy Hills. The décor uses all the colours of the surrounding
landscape, with heather coloured carpets and aubergine furnishings set
against light woodwork giving the accommodation an airy fresh feel. Holiday

Leisure at Moness We are very pleased to announce the completion of our leisure refurbishment and upgrade at Moness. The changing rooms, steam room, sauna, individual treatment rooms and poolside showers now have a new contemporary look, which along with the modernized reception area and newly built easy access for visitors, makes Moness a most desirable choice for those who enjoy relaxation and comfort.
Our Swimming Pool offers the perfect environment for a leisurely swim
alternatively you can just laze in our poolside spa or why not take the
opportunity to sit and unwind in our newly installed sauna or steam room,
either, a superb way of relaxing.
Alternatively, visit the new Spa Therapy rooms where you can enjoy complete
relaxation and indulge yourself with a wonderful range of Beauty &
Complementary Therapies, including manicures, pedicures, facial treatments
and massage.
For racquet enthusiasts, the games hall is set up daily to play either
badminton, mini tennis or squash and for a slightly slower pace, carpet
bowls.Our Indoor games facilities at the resort include a pool table and
table tennis with a viewing gallery over looking the pool where snacks
and hot and cold drinks can be purchased, the games hall holds mid-week
aerobic and martial arts classes, run by independent qualified instructors,

Moness Country Club is situated in an area abundant with recreational
pursuits and just a stones throw from the Birks of Aberfeldy, a local
beauty spot made famous by the Scottish poet Rabbie Burns. Why not explore
this historic area and visit some of the many local castles open to the
public? In the summer enjoy a family day out at one of the traditional
local Highland Games.
Choose from tennis, shooting, mountain biking, fishing and hill walking,
not forgetting the wealth of challenging golf courses nearby. Even in
winter the ski slopes are within an hour and a halfs drive.
The nearby village of Aberfeldy has a variety of pubs, restaurants and
gift shops including a local gallery shop. Dewar’s Whisky Distillery
in the village offers daily tours and there is even a local tourist office

Our Flemmying Suite holds up to 120 guests and is suitable
for civil ceremonies as well as receptions. With a wooden dance-floor
and stained glass ceiling inset, this is a truly special room.
Our Farragon Room is perfect for an intimate wedding
ceremony and / or wedding dinner for up to 40. With a real-flame fire
and cosy atmosphere, the Farragon is perfect for an atmospheric Winter
