Luxury Cottages Moness Accommodation

Stay in one of the self-catering cottages and lodges.
They range from traditional to luxurious four star cottages that make the perfect gathering place for a family break in Scotland.

Moness has a selection of luxury one, two and three bedroom self-catering cottages set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, many with views overlooking the magnificent Aberfeldy Hills.

Our Perthshire holiday cottages are fully furnished an equipped and are ideal accommodation for a family break in Scotland. 1, 2 and 3 bedroom holiday cottages are available.
With access to all our dining and leisure facilities, including the heated swimming pool there is plenty to do within the Moness resort.
With the Aberfeldy countryside and Perthshire highlands on your doorstep there are a range of activities and attractions to enjoy using a Moness holiday cottage as a base.

These cottages are fully equipped and furnished to the high standards required to meet Scottish Tourist Board 4 star grading and RCI Gold Crown award. All our properties are non-smoking.

Gate Lodge Cottages:
Gate Lodge Cottages were also built in 2007 and comprise of 3 high quality cottages in 2 and 3 bedroom sizes.
The Gate Lodge Cottages are surrounded by trees and woodland and are quite private, making them ideal cottages for guests looking for peace and tranquility during their stay at Moness. Holiday Cottage

The Courtyard Cottages at Moness:
The original farm courtyard buildings were replaced in 2004 with our brand new courtyard cottages that retain the character of the original building but are now fully refurbished and furnished to the high standards expected to meet RCI Gold Crown and Scottish Tourist Board 4 star standards.

There is a mixture of one, two and three bedroom cottages, many with views overlooking the magnificent Aberfeldy Hills. The décor uses all the colours of the surrounding landscape, with heather coloured carpets and aubergine furnishings set against light woodwork giving the accommodation an airy fresh feel.

The Original Cottages at Moness:
Delightful one and two bedroom cottages set within the 35 acres of woodland in the Moness Estate in Aberfeldy. Holiday Cottage Location: Aberfeldy, Perthshire.

The Walled Garden Cottages at Moness:
Set within the original farm walled garden these cottages are spacious log cabin style bungalows.

Dining at Moness:
The Head Chef and his team create menus that are traditional and quite simple, offering an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game locally sourced from Perth and around Perthshire – the menu is changed daily so you can enjoy the very best spectrum of fresh and varied, yet stylish dishes, which is skilled, assured and great value for money.

The Restaurant has friendly staff on hand to attend to all your needs and assist in your wine and menu choice which offers a selection of appetisers, main courses and desserts.
The bar also serves a fine selection of Malt Whiskies, and why not combine a coffee and a liqueur for a favourite after dinner treat?

Breakfast is served daily, with a wide selection including fresh fruit platter, cereals and porridge. Whether you plan to explore the area or simply relax enjoy a full cooked Scottish breakfast prior to setting off.

The Terrace Bar offers a less formal setting with comfy leather sofas and bistro style furniture and is an ideal choice for a lighter or more informal meal. Family-friendly and welcoming, the bar also screens most important sporting events.
The bar menu features a range of tasty snacks & meals as well as tea, coffee & refreshments. When the weather is fine enjoy a drink or dine al fresco on the outdoor Terrace.

Whether you are a romantic couple, a family getting-together or a group of friends looking to celebrate, dining at Moness has something to offer everyone.
Special dietary needs can always be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Leisure at Moness:
We are very pleased to announce the completion of our leisure refurbishment and upgrade at Moness.

The changing rooms, steam room, sauna, individual treatment rooms and poolside showers now have a new contemporary look, which along with the modernized reception area and newly built easy access for visitors, makes Moness a most desirable choice for those who enjoy relaxation and comfort.

Our Swimming Pool offers the perfect environment for a leisurely swim alternatively you can just laze in our poolside spa or why not take the opportunity to sit and unwind in our newly installed sauna or steam room, either, a superb way of relaxing.

Alternatively, visit the new Spa Therapy rooms where you can enjoy complete relaxation and indulge yourself with a wonderful range of Beauty & Complementary Therapies, including manicures, pedicures, facial treatments and massage.
For racquet enthusiasts, the games hall is set up daily to play either badminton, mini tennis or squash and for a slightly slower pace, carpet bowls.

Our Indoor games facilities at the resort include a pool table and table tennis with a viewing gallery over looking the pool where snacks and hot and cold drinks can be purchased, the games hall holds mid-week aerobic and martial arts classes, run by independent qualified instructors, catering for varied abilities (chargeable to instructor, programme subject to change).
In addition to the indoor leisure facilities, Moness also offers a 9 hole mini putting green open throughout the summer months.

As you would expect, our duck pond is a favourite place amongst our guests, with a growing family of mallards that also enjoy our beautiful gardens and pond area and very often you will be treated to some of the areas wildlife, including red squirrels, hares, rabbits, grouse, eagles and if you're very lucky, deer.
Enjoy a tranquil walk round the well presented grounds or go strolling in the local area, notably the Birks of Aberfeldy, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Aberfeldy itself provides ready access to a wide range of recreational pursuits including golf, water sports on lochs and rivers, climbing and hill walking.

Weddings:
We love weddings at Moness and will enjoy your big day almost as much as you will!Whether opting for a small, intimate wedding or the extravagant event of the year, we will help you to create a wonderful, memorable day.
Please ask about our Marquee option if you have a more than 120 guests or indeed if this would just be just your preference. Our beautiful lawn makes the perfect setting and the possibilities are endless.

Accommodation:
Your party may choose to stay either in the hotel (in a Suite, Superior or Deluxe room) or a 4-star lodge in the grounds, all with use of the leisure facilities. You and your betrothed will stay in the Romantic Suite with our compliments.

Ceremony Venues:
Ceremonies may take place on the resort, at one of the lovely churches locally, at the foot of Ben Lawers or any number of local beauty spots.

Dining Options:
Whether your choice is a wedding buffet or an extravagant banquet, our specialist wedding Chef, David McKendry, will ensure that you and your guests receive exceptional food and service. Chef will help you to create a menu specifically to your taste.
