Aberdeen HotelsWhen Glen and Mandy came to view Mo Dachaidh for the first time, they knew before they had even walked through the door that this was the highland holiday home they had dreamt of.

They were instantly captivated by the stunning views and idyllic location of this beautiful house.

They spent 6 months creating a Highland retreat to be proud of and are now ready to share it with discerning guests who are looking for comfort and luxury.

With its open fire, bespoke plaid drapes and stylish furniture, the elegant living room certainly has the ‘wow' factor. Double French doors open onto a pretty garden and offer magnificent views towards Glen Lyon; the longest and loveliest glen in Scotland.

Mo Dachaidh Accommodation

Mo Dachaidh is Gaelic for 'My Home' and you will certainly feel at home in this beautiful house. Sleeping 5-8, this spacious property has 2 en-suite double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. Short breaksare available throughout the year and a discount is offered for reduced occupancy if only 3 bedrooms are used.

There are two double en-suite bedrooms, one of which is located on the ground floor.
There are also a further two twin bedrooms which are served by a stunning, newly fitted bathroom.
The large dining kitchen is ideal for sociable family dining and there is also a large utility room.

A great deal of thought has gone into furnishing and equipping this 4 star property.
Each bedroom has been designed to create a relaxing haven for its occupants.

Beautiful fabrics have been chosen for the bespoke blinds and voiles, the crisp white bed linen and soft, luxurious white towels have all been supplied by The White Company.

Extra touches such as toiletries from Arran Aromatics and a welcome tray with homemade cake and free range eggs (from our managers hens!), further enhance the unique holiday experience on offer at Mo Dachaidh.

Electric Double oven and hob, dishwater, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing maching, tumble dryer, free sat, flat screen tv and dvd player, ipod docking station, digital radio/CD player, open fire,full oil fired central heating.

All of our holiday homes are graded by Visit Scotland to a minimum of 4 stars and are regularly used by their owners.
Each house is personally managed by Angela Penfold and she will be your contact for your initial enquiry and throughout your stay.
Angela knows each property intimately and in many cases has actually played a major part in the creation of these luxurious and welcoming holiday homes.
Angela lives within 20 minutes of each of our properties and is always on hand during your stay if you should have any queries or problems. Please note that all properties are strictly NO SMOKING.

Outside there is a beautiful, well kept garden with a summerhouse and garden furniture for al fresco dining. There is a garage offering secure storage for golf clubs, bicycles etc. and ample driveway parking for 4/5 cars. There is also a well stocked log store.

Location:
Mo Dachaidh is located 5 miles west of Aberfeldy, in the quiet hamlet of Keltneyburn. Kenmore and Loch Tay are a short 5-10 minute drive away and offer various amenities such as The Courtyard Deli and Bistro, 2 golf courses, Post Office store, restaurants and gift shops.

There are also some lovely walks along the River Tay and on Drummond Hill and a great beach on the loch side which is perfect for family picnics and paddling for the children. You can also hire boats and canoes for use on the loch and river.

The small town of Aberfeldy has an excellent selection of shops together with a medical centre, dentist, vet, garage, banks, Post Office, galleries, takeaways, restaurants and pubs.
There is also a new community cinema project due for completion towards the end of 2010 and a new sports centre and swimming pool are also currently under construction and due for completion by early 2011.

Directions:
Getting There by Car:

From the A9 take the exit at Ballinluig and follow the signs for Aberfeldy on the A827. Follow this road to Aberfeldy (approx 10 miles).
Continue through the town of Aberfeldy on the A827 until you reach the traffic lights, where you should turn right. Follow this road over the bridge with the traffic lights and continue along the Poplar avenue. Follow the road (B846) as it bears hard left and continue through Weem. Keep on this road for approx 4.5 miles.
You will see a sign on the left saying ‘Coshiville, Please Drive Safely’ directly opposite this sign turn into the entrance for Donafuil Farm.
