Sharing the eastern border of Namibia’s etosha Nation Park, Onguma Tented Camp is a beguiling mixture of sophistication and relaxation, of elegance and the earth.
In the local Herero language, onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.”
The lodge blends seamlessly with nature and is situated at a waterhole and all the luxury tents as well as the main complex overlook the waterhole.
Predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard are common residents of the area and black rhino have recently been introduced.

Accommodation
We offer 7 spacious and exclusive suites all with a toilet, own bath and shower, tea / coffee station, a fan, safe in the room and there are mosquito nets fitted to the doors and windows.

There is also a living area presiding over the waterhole, wooden deck surrounding a pool that leads to an open sided lounge and dining area.

Dining
There is a restaurant and a bar on the camp and we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. For breakfast, guests have a choice of the conventional English breakfast or have a buffet.
Lunch meals comprise of salads, pasta and sandwiches while dinner is a 4 course meal with either white or red meat.
The dining experience is complimented by the daily activities taking place around the nearby watering hole with sightings of giraffe, wildebeest, many species of antelope, zebra and occasionally lions.
