The main B8 road stretches 260 km between Grootfontein and Rundu in the far north-east of Namibia.

Wildacker Guest Farm Grootfontein

This corner of a breathtakingly beautiful country has its own charm and beauty, with the tall trees of the Caprivi woodland vegetation covering ancient sand dunes of the northern Kalahari.

Wildacker is a private game reserve of more than 15,000 ha, rich in a variety of endemic Namibian wildlife.

The reserve hosts visitors in its private wilderness and guest farm. Longitudinal dunes and the valleys in between dominate the landscape, and many bird species are attracted to the water-filled hollows after heavy rains.
