Just 14 kilometres north of Swakopmund along the Skeleton Coast Road is Windpomp 14, run by Sun Karos, it offers some of the best camping along the coast of Namibia.

Windpomp 14 has been developed into a great place to stay with self-contained camping sites, restaurant, bar, entertainment and more.

During the day, families and friends enjoy time on the beach.

At night, they gather around a warm campfire beneath the Namib night sky, falling asleep to the soothing rhythm of the tide.

Located right on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, Windpomp 14 has clearly marked campsites in three rows.

Those on the front row closest to the ocean are in particularly high demand.

If you want to visit in December you will need to book a long way in advance, this place is very popular over Christmas and New Year.

The campsites have running water-taps and 220v power outlets with caravan adaptors.

Our ablution facilities offer hot showers, wash basins and flush toilets. Each campsite includes a built-in BBQ, however you will need to bring your own grill grid.

Rubbish bins are available at all campsites.
