Kings Den Lodge Namibia

King's Den Lodge is situated in the east Caprivi on the banks of the Chobe River, which forms the border of 4 countries (Namibia, Botswana Zimbabwe, and Zambia).

The best possible place to be in Namibia's water-rich north-east is on the Zambezi Queen moored at King's Den overlooking Kasikili Island, stamping ground of elephant, buffalo and hippo.

From here, you have access to two of Southern Africa's greatest tourist destinations:
Botswana's Chobe Game Reserve and Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls.

Kings Den Lodge consists of 10 wooden chalets with balconies overhanging the river, offering a magnificent view of the Chobe and Sedudu (Kasikili) Island, stamping ground of elephant, buffalo and hippo, and 5 chalets overlook the tropical garden.

Accommodation is in 20 luxury double rooms with bathrooms en suite, a restaurant, open-air breakfast/braai boma, swimming pool and bar. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with ceiling fans. The Zambezi Queen, moored on the river at the lodge, offers another 9 air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities and lounge.

An interesting fact is that the Chobe River sometimes flows backwards - and sometimes forward, depending whether it gets fed from the Kwando and Linyanti Rivers or from the Zambezi River.
