We are comfortable with Afrikaans and English speaking guests. The farmstead is situated at the entrance of a dramatic mountain valley guarded by a cone shaped hill from which the farm derives its name. A tributary of the Haseweb River, that has it's origin in this valley, is flanked by a luxurious riverside forest, which houses a spectacular variety of bird life. A ground dam, 3 km from the farmstead, has bird-viewing facilities and can be reached either on foot or by car on a well-maintained gravel road. This is a working farm and the visitor can get an indepth insight into goat, sheep and cattle farming. We are not far from Zebra Park, Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei. During school holidays, we cater for children (only visits). For the tourist wanting to sample the traditional flavour of Namibian farm life and hospitality, we are the ideal stop-over en route to Luderitzbucht. Spitskoppe Castle Guest House offers you the opportunity
to stay with your hosts, Abie and Josie. Breakfast will be served by our friendly staff in our dining room. Afterwards relax in our lounge or take a walk to the Spitskoppe close-by. In the mornings, on the balcony of the Guesthouse, you can see far into
the distance while enjoying a cup of coffee. At night-time and during
the night, you can see the stars & planets while enjoying a glass
of wine. Spitskoppe Castle camping site is a short distance from the self-catering but not you will not be disturbed. Beautiful shady spaces to set up your camping equipment and also available are bathing amenities and electricity. Experience the wonderful silence at night with natures own sounds to swept you off to a relaxing and peaceful night's sleep.
