There´s a small pool, great to refresh yourself.
Trees with shade (it´s really hot, at least in october). BBQ.
We stayed just one night on our way north. The staff at the gate and reception were friendly and we found a lovely campsite, reasonably close to the ablution block but with no-one else close by. Electricity, water and braai facilities on each site, very clean ablutions (a little maintenance on the tile work required, but absolutely spotless) and lots of very hot water. We went to the lookout to watch the sunset and take photographs and drove back. The shop closed very soon after sunset (we had gone to park our vehicle) so we didn't get to use it and we left early the next morning.
All you could need in a remote desert camp. Hot water, clean ablutions, a swimming pool, a basic camp shop, helpful staff, shade trees... simplicity at its best. Easy access to the viewsite at the edge of the canyon. Worth bring a MTB too... there are some nice rides that can be taken from here - includimng riding at night by moonlight - totally surreal!
