The River Club is situated 18km upstream from the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the Zambezi river just across from the Zambezi National Park and has a destinct Edwarian flavour to it.

The lush gardens are spread out beneath the trees creating a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds, where guests and bird lovers can enjoy the natural beauty of the zambezi river and the rich bird life which is found around the area. The Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and elephants can be seen on the river bank. Hippos are also regularly sighted along the river's edge.

The Edwarian style house is the main area with a comfortable lounge and large dining room. It also boasts with a very impressive library which has a fire place, making it just the right place to be when in the mood for a good read. The wide outside veranda overlooks the zambezi river where guests can enjoy their breakfast or tea.

The pool seems part of the river itself and has a secluded deck with hammocks and loungers where guests can soak up the sun or just have a peaceful retreat. For those who enjoy playing snooker, there is a game room with a lounge where guests can play to their hearts content.

Ten luxury en-suite chalets are spread out amongst the river facing west into magnificent African sunsets. Each chalet has one side completely open to the river where the guests can enjoy a gorgeous uninterupted view of the Zambezi river and its far bank from the privacy of their own bed or bathtub. All have a concertina screen door or window across the front of the bedroom and/or bathroom. Each bed is covered in luxurious linen and has mosquito nets. creating a romantic feel to the room.

Where is The River Club ?
Located on the north bank of the Zambezi River about18 km upstream from the Victoria Falls, it is easily reached by a well maintained dirt road. The Livingstone airport is located 20min from the camp.
