Bastille de Blignaut, situated in Edenvale, is central to the East-Rand , Johannesburg and Midrand, and within 10 km from OR Tambo International Airport. Although Bastille de Blignaut has the look of a Castle or Fort, as the name implies, we are a small private secluded Establishment with only four rooms, catering for the Business man/woman or Tourist who is looking for a stylish yet down to earth 'home away from home'. Leonard and Tilla strive to provide a homely atmosphere. Breakfast is included in our price and a Home cooked Dinner is available at a small addition cost.

Each room has a Medieval theme, "The Kings Chamber", "Queens Chamber"and "Hunters room", "The Grand Hall", our Dining room, where a Smart Casual dress code is required, allows our Guests to relax or mingle and enjoy their meals. Illiondale is a quiet suburb of Edenvale, ideally situated in close proximity of Three Great Sopping Malls, Eastgate, Greenstone and Festival Mall.
The prestigious Modderfontein Golf Course is virtually on our door step. Modderfontein Dynamite Factory, Established before the Anglo/Boer war boasts a unique Museum less than 3 km away. We are 10Km from O R Tambo International Airport.

The Hunters room has been prepared for one or two persons sharing. It
has an on suite Bathroom and two single beds.
Royalty Chambers
As the names imply, the King and Queens Chambers are spacious rooms with
on suite Bathrooms. Fit for Royalty They are each furnished with a Double
Bed, but two additional single beds can easily be added for a small family.
