The Cocobana Beach Resort opened in December 1992, when the first resort on Malapascua Island. The name Cocobana is a composition and combination of words of two letters of the four words of Corals, Coconuts, Bananas and Cabanas.
The Beach Resort is under Swiss / Filipino management and is right on the snow-white Bounty Beach.
The location of the resort is unique. On a fine sandy beach, there is plenty of space for relaxing and sunbathing. The gently sloping lagoon invites you to swim, snorkel and scuba diving for children and adults.
On the island there are several beaches that can be reached on foot and during your vacation you have enough time to discover this. But should you want during your vacation just to rest, then the various sandy beaches can be reached by motorbike taxi or outrigger boat.
