Inhaca Island Lodge

Inhaca Island is easily accessible by boat or ferry from the capital of Mozambique, Maputo.

You can spend your days lazing around your chalet and our large salt water pool, or stroll around the gorgeous tropical island, or take a boat trip to the nearby Portuguese Island for a lazy day in the sun or picnic on the beach. Or you can take advantage of Land Rover excursions or the varied water sports on offer, such as water ski, snorkeling, scuba diving, canoeing and sunset cruises, or get hooked on some of the best game fishing in the Indian Ocean.
Accommodation
This stunning resort offers a total of 40 rooms: doubles, twin bedded and larger family rooms. All the rooms have en-suite bathroom with shower, and are set amongst magnificent coconut palms and exotic gardens.

These chalets are equipped with twin and queen beds all with mosquito nets and have en-suite bathrooms with showers. They also have air conditioning, ceiling fans, tea / coffee facilities, DStv, telephone, 2 bottles of mineral water on arrival and garden views.
Family Chalet x 20
The chalets have twin and queen beds all with mosquito nets and an en-suite bathroom with shower. For 2 children younger than 12 years, a sofa is provided. The chalet is equipped with tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, DStv, air conditioning, telephone, 2 bottles of mineral water on arrival and garden views.
Facilities
Pestana Inhaca Lodge also caters for conferences and business trips, with conference facilities catering for up to 40 persons. The interior décor is an Africa Island theme light, bright and airy, adding to the tropical island magic. The conference room is facilitated with an overhead projector, a white board, slide projector, TV, notebook projector and the venue accommodates > 75 delegates.
Other facilities include faxing, airport shuttle services. babysitting, laundry services, pool table, a garden and braai facilities. There is a bar on the premises, a swimming pool to relax after a long day, a gymnasium, a tennis court for some exercise and a library for the keen readers, Internet facilities are available and guest can converse while watching the communal TV. Pets are prohibited and there is a credit card facility available.
Dining: There is a restaurant on the premises where breakfast, lunch and dinner meals are served.
Activities: There is bird watching, scuba diving, canoeing, waterskiing, yachting, whale watching, deep sea and salt water fishing. There is also paddling, sailing and kayaking.
