Famous for its well established and busy seafood restaurant Costa do Sol has a few rooms upstairs and some caravan style parkhomes in the back yard. Located a few kilometres north of Maputo along the coast, it is away from the main city and the busy beach is just across the road. The beach and road outside the restaurant can be noisy as it is a favourite area for local Maputo residents to meet and drink, especially at weekends and over public holidays.

Costa do Sol Hotel and Restaurant is 10km from the centre of Maputo on the Marginal coast road. Costa do Sol offers exquisite views of the palm dotted beach and open sea. The original hotel of Art Deco architecture has been in operation for many years under family management. It remained open throughout the civil war making it something of a Maputo landmark. It boasts a long standing tradition of good service, excellent food and value for money, for both the tourist and businessman.

Accommodation in the hotel is in air conditioned room with private bathrooms. There are also specially constructed park homes within the hotel grounds. There are 2 bungalows, 01 x 2 bed (has 01 double bed & 01 x small single bed) and 01 x 1 bed room (has 01 double bed) both with en suite shower and toilet. A fridge and kettle is also provided.

All meals can be taken in the Costa do Sol restaurant overlooking the beach and Xefina Island in the bay of Maputo. Costa do Sol is famous for it’s seafood which is caught fresh daily. They also serve some popular Greek dishes.
