Seafront Restaurant and Bar

Serving a wide selection of fresh local grilled seafood, fresh baking, Philippine dishes and Western food. Romance, nature and tranquillity are our resort objectives and the bar and restaurant reflect this ethos with our commitment to the natural environment of Coral Bay Beach and Dive Resort.

Alcohol and drinks The Bar serves excellent imported wine from Chile, Australia, south Africa, California, France, Spain and Italy. sparkling Champagne, Good Whiskey and many discerning brands of liquor are all available. We also serve more than 20 specially made drinks, cocktails and local fruit shakes (the Mango shakes are simply devine and a must taste while at Coral Bay Beach and Dive Resort.

Activities

Diving is always made in as small and personal groups as possible and all our guides are PADI certified Instructors. We strive to give each and every diver with us the very best experience that is possible and we are very proud of the fantastic feedback and comments we receive in this regard.

World War II Wreck Coron is well blessed with a wide range of dive sites to suit all tastes and levels of experience, from shallow reefs to advanced wreck diving. The major attraction however is undoubtedly the wrecks of the Japanese supply fleet sunk in September 1944.

Reefs and Lakes Fantastic reef diving on many varied beautiful reefs. Black Island, a beautiful Island great for snorkelling, diving and swimming for the whole family. Soft and hard corals in abundance and a Wreck. North Cay, Slope of corals, ends at 30m by grottos, where you can be lucky to run into a shark or two. Calambuyan and Lusong Island (Coral Garden) has slopes going down to 15 to 20m, a rich life of large corals bommies, and we can even choose to do a great drift dive. Barrracuda Lake, A magnificent volcanic lake with prominent a Thermocline and Halocline reaching temperatures of 38 degrees, with many unique and strange features to provide the most unique dive you will ever do. And of course our own personal playground and training site. The magnificent pristine Coral Bay House Reef and Wreck! With one of the largest school of Fish (Jackfishes) you can see in Coron and Busuanga.

Jungle Trekking We have many fantastic signed walks and trails around Popototan Island from 30 minutes to a whole day with nature and biodiversity in abundance all around. We have tracks suitable for all levels of experience. You can climb to the ‘watch tower’ and see the awesome view of the resort, Bay and Islands or Climb over the ‘mountain’ to find the ‘West Beach’ overlooking the Open Ocean of the South China Sea. Enjoy a gentle low level stroll to the white sands of ‘Long Beach’ on the south of our island, where we are regularly visited my Dugongs (Sea cows) or visit the neighbouring traditional fishing village of Magalambay, where you will be treated as a visiting dignitary and can even get a lift back ‘home’ across the bay with the local fisherman. We provide free maps and advice in our office, so you can choose just the right type of track for you and your party.

Kayaking Rent a Kayak or Sea Canoe and explore the Islands, the virgin Mangrove Forests and the surroundings. We can even organise a packed lunch if you wish to stay out for a full day. Why not take snorkelling equipment and a camera and make memories with your friends and loved ones that will last a lifetime. For comfortable and experienced kayakers you can even go for a night kayak and watch the sun set on your own private Island just 20 minutes paddle from the resort, enjoying jumping fishes and bioluminescence in the water on your journey.

Snorkeling As well as many island tours to the various beautiful reefs of the area we have one of the best reefs right at the end of our pier, you will find a vast and unspoiled coral reef, 1,5 km long and 50 m wide. One of the largest and most pristine protected reefs in Busuanga. Here you can spend your days, exploring the aquatic world of Tropical Pacific Asia. Common species found on our reef include the beautiful and flamboyant Lionfish, a huge school of swirling Jacks, a resident Goliath Grouper, regular visits from everyone’s favourite the Hawksbill Turtle, Crocodile fishes, Rays, Trigger fish, Sweet lips, Cuttlefish, Clown fish´s and a massive variety of macro to excite even the most experienced snorkelers.

We also have regular visits from Dugongs (Sea cows) on the South Side of our reef. NIGHT SNORKELLING - You can even have the experience of a life time under clear starry skies by renting a waterproof flashlight and going night snorkelling where you will hear the Lionfish “bark”, see bioluminescence ‘sparkling’ in the water and possibly meet lobsters, hermit and decorator crabs, shrimps, sleeping fishes and watch the coral reef itself come alive to feed.

All boat rates are inclusive of coffee, tea and drinking water on the boat and are for maximum of 6 people. For more passengers prices are based on a pro rata calculation. All rates are subject to local Tax and Vat and local entrance and marine park fees.

You will take a domestic flight from NAIA (Terminal 3) to Busuanga Airport in Palawan. What we can do for you is recommend the websites for domestic air carriers that fly to Busuanga. You can book your flights directly online.

Free Transfer from Coron Town Only 10 AM Daily subject to first come first serve. Make your way to Coron Town where our office is located (In-front of BISTRO) from Busuanga airport or Sea Port. This special transfer is for our guests who booked for minimum of 2 nights and able to advise us earliest possible before their arrival. The van will leave 10AM from our office in Coron Town and take you to the boat pick up point. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes to one hour by van and 1 hour by boat. The maximum capacity per trip is 8 guests.

Private Transfer For the smoothest arrival possible, we can arrange your Private Transfer directly from Francisco B. Reyes Airport (Busuanga Airport – USU) and take you straight to the resort. At anytime of the day with an additional charge around PHP 3000 only. For trips after 4:30PM, the additional charge around PHP 3500 for the Night Navigation. In the event of delayed flights, our logistics personnel will wait for your arrival. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes to one hour by van and 1 hour by boat. Payable at the resort upon check out. This rate is good for maximum of 8 guests per trip.
