The Resort is wonderfully located by a nature reserve just one block from Kellys Beach, the main swimming beach in Bargara, so you have the benefit of being close to the beach as well as being protected from the main road by a natural creek and forest area the ideal place to stay to experience what  Bundaberg and The Southern Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Take it easy that is the motto here in Bargara and at Kellys! With 40 self contained and standalone holiday units on 5.5 acres of gardens.

Villas

Our 2 bedroom standalone villas have spacious living, kitchen with cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, appliances, crockery and cutlery, seperate bathroom and shower, air conditioning, CD and DVD, hair dryer and ironing facilities. There is a master bedroom downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs and can sleep up to 5 people. Each villa also has an individual veranda and carport.

Restaurant

We provide delicious and affordable a la carte menu, wine and cocktail lists too! You would not t be disappointed! We also offer Dinner and Breakfast Packages for our Resort Guests. KBRs Licensed Restaurant is a delicious, affordable and family friendly Restaurant located in beautiful Bargara. Locals are welcome and we cater for many types of functions.

The Activities

Bundaberg North Burnett Tourism- there is so much to do in our diverse region! From Island experiences, mainland snorkeling, hinterlands and gorges, to tour and activities! 

The Southern Great Barrier Reef- not a lot of people know that Bundaberg is the southern most access to the Great Barrier Reef. Everyone travels all the way up to North Queensland when the most untouched part of the reef is right here, only 4 hours north of Brisbane.

Mon Repos Turtle Experience- mon repos beach is home to Australias largest loggerhead turtle rookery and is just a short drive from the resort.

Bundaberg Rum Bond Store Experience- visiting the bundaberg rum distillery is an experience that is enjoyed most by adults.

Bundaberg Distilling Co- from the unique spilled ginger beer flooring to bubbles in the entrance door of the tour, the barrel showcases Bundaberg Brewed Drinks most famous product Bundaberg Ginger Beer.

Our Beaches- we are lucky enough to have some of the most untouched and private beaches on the East Coast of Australia.

Enviro Reefs Paddle and Surf School- come learn to walk on water with Enviro Reef Paddle and Surf School in beautiful locations across our region such as Elliot Heads, Mon Repos and Kellys Beaches.

Amandine Lavender Farm- amandine lavender is a gift shop and farm located just around the corner from our resort. The quaint gift shop offers a range of exclusive lavender products and gifts, to calm and relax you and fragrance your home.

Snakes Down Under Reptile Park- during the day there are two chances to hold a young salt water croc and python (no extra charge) where you may take your own photos.

Town of 1770- only 1.25 hours drive north is the picturesque town of 1770. Which is not only the northern most surf beach on the East Coast of Australia, but one of only three places on the East Coast of Australia that a sunset is experienced over water.

Kellys Beach Resort is perfect for groups, conferences,  weddings and functions! We also specialize in Christmas Functions and Staff Break Up Functions! You name the occasion, and our functions specialists will help everything from guest accommodation, hire equipment, catering,  and entertainment. We offer an air conditioned function room for your special event, or you may choose from 3 separate outdoor areas.
