Hua Hin Travel

Night Market -with countless outlets along the street, you can find handmade seigniors, garment, jewelries and etc. Apart from that there are plenty of seafood restaurants and Thai famous dishes. This market opens daily from 6 p.m. to 12 am.
Kaeng Krachan National Park -with wide variety flora and fauna, more than 400 species of birds can be seen along with wild animals.
Pa La U Waterfall -near the Burmese border and it is a part of Keang Krachan National park. With more than 16 steps water fall, makes it one of the bigger water falls in Thailand. Along the way, you could enjoy rare wild life animals animal and hundreds species of butterflies. On the trip you could visit the Hill tribe village which settled around 200 years ago by Burmese origin and see their way of living.

Directions to Veranda Lodge

Plane
Visitors from abroad can fly to the primary airport of Bangkok. Direct flights are scheduled into Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport, from many main airports around the world. You can also have a connecting flight from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Hua Hin around 45 minutes by plane. The other option in getting is to take a bus, mini bus, train, taxi, car and limousine. Generally Hua Hin town, is 230 kilometres southwest of Bangkok which is a 3 hour drive. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from Hua Hin downtown.

Bus and Mini Bus
Hourly bus services are available from Southern Bus Terminal. You can take either an air conditioned or non air conditioned buses which ply the route from Southern Bus Terminal to Srasong Road in Hua Hin. Some of these buses will take you further south like the adjoining district of Pranburi and Petchburi. Passengers to Hua Hin get down at the Clock Tower located at the heart of town. Reservation is required to secure seats and must be book in person. In Bangkok, minibuses start from Ratchawitee Hospital near the Victory Monument. Minibuses unload passengers in a site off Petchkasem Road in the centre of town. Buses fare range from THB 160 to THB 200.

Taxi or Car
You can also flag down taxi or hire a car and drive all the way to Hua Hin. There are two routes from Bangkok to Hua Hin. The shorter one is along Thonburi-Paktho Road, via Samut Songkhram, Petchkasem Highway and along the route to Prachuab Khirikhan. The longer one is via Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi and Petchaburi. Fare is around THB 3000.

Train
Train is a safer and comfortable way to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok. Trains run from Hua Lum Pong Railway Station in Bangkok to the historic Hua Hin railway station. Both stations can be reached easily.
