Greenfield Valley's 80 acre estate has a private entrance off a main road which leads into a very peacefull location, yet is only located only 20 minutes from the seaside town of Hua Hin, Thailand. Situated in a beautiful valley amid graceful trees and sunlit lawns, the lakes at Greenfield Valley Fishing Resort are of the very highest quality.

There are 13 cottages of varying sizes and locations, as well as tenting sites at Greenfield Fishing and Cottage Resort. Each cottage has a spacious bedroom, 3 piece bathroom with hot water shower, air conditioning, bed linens, towels, fridge, coffee maker and cable television. 6 Cottages have lakeside balconies and views with the remaining cottages set in tropical gardens. Family Cottages can sleep up to 4 people in one large room. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our resort and our goal is make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Restaurant and Bar

Greenfield Valley has an extensive menu and drinks list, that includes both western and Thai dishes. Our prices are very keen for example a full English breakfast. Drinks are equally inexpensive. Meals can be served throughout the day either in your swim or the restaurant area, or even at the bar.

Fresh Water Fishing -our 2 lakes are stocked with at least 23 varieties of fish including Giant Mekong Catfish, Giant Siamese Carp, Arapaima, Amazon Red-tails and many others
Beach -there are numerous secluded beaches and bays just south of Hua Hin to be explored.
Golf -South East Asia's golfing Mecca with twelve world-class golf courses located nearby
Biking -take off on one of our free bikes and enjoy the beautiful local scenery
Hiking -because Greenfield Valley is set in a quiet rural district of Hua Hin, there are extensive hiking opportunities available.
Sight seeing -visit one of the hundreds of temples, or take a day out to a local National Park

Specimen Lake

Our main lake is approximately 4 acres in size and is home to a vast variety Thai and Amazon fish species. Our biggest specimens are currently Arapaima to 300lbs, Mekong Catfish & Chao-Praya Catfish which are all approaching 100lbs, but in addition to big fish there are some 25 species of sporting fish to target all in the range of 5lb to 100lb, including Siamese Carp, Common Carp, Barramundi, Amazon Red-tails, Marbled tiger catfish and many many more.

Carp Lake

Our Carp Lake is set in the peaceful grounds of Greenfield Valley's 80 acre estate. Designed with the carp angler and recreational angler in mind this 2.5 acre lake has natural grass banks with plenty of shade from several mature trees or umbrella's if you prefer. Fishing is from one bank so nobody can fish opposite you. There are 15 swims available each swim is supplied with umbrella, chair, table and rod pod.
There is a small onsite restaurant and bar, serving a range of delicious Thai and western foods, snacks, soft and alcoholic drinks.

Fly Fishing and Spin Fishing Lake

This recently opened fly fishing lake located in Greenfield Valley in Hua Hin, Thailand boasts some of the best Arapaima fly fishing in the world. Stocked with 60 Arapaima, massive Pacu, Giant Snakehead and soon to come Freshwater Dorado and Barramundi. The fly fishing equipment we use is from class 7 to 10 and top of the line, you can expect multiple of strikes from Arapaima during a days fishing and some of the best fly fishing for big Pacu anywhere.

Directions to Greenfield Valley Resort

Plane
Visitors from abroad can fly to the primary airport of Bangkok. Direct flights are scheduled into Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport, from many main airports around the world. You can also have a connecting flight from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Hua Hin around 45 minutes by plane. The other option in getting is to take a bus, mini bus, train, taxi, car and limousine. Generally Hua Hin town, is 230 kilometres southwest of Bangkok which is a 3 hour drive. Arriving from Hua Hin Airport you can take a van, tuk tuk, or taxi going to the hotel. It is a 50 minute drive from Hua Hin downtown.

Bus and Mini Bus
Hourly bus services are available from Southern Bus Terminal. You can take either an air conditioned or non air conditioned buses which ply the route from Southern Bus Terminal to Srasong Road in Hua Hin. Some of these buses will take you further south like the adjoining district of Pranburi and Petchburi. Passengers to Hua Hin get down at the Clock Tower located at the heart of town. Reservation is required to secure seats and must be book in person. In Bangkok, minibuses start from Ratchawitee Hospital near the Victory Monument. Minibuses unload passengers in a site off Petchkasem Road in the centre of town. Buses fare range from THB 160 to THB 200.

Taxi or Car
You can also flag down taxi or hire a car and drive all the way to Hua Hin. There are two routes from Bangkok to Hua Hin. The shorter one is along Thonburi-Paktho Road, via Samut Songkhram, Petchkasem Highway and along the route to Prachuab Khirikhan. The longer one is via Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi and Petchaburi. Fare is around THB 3000.

Train
Train is a safer and comfortable way to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok. Trains run from Hua Lum Pong Railway Station in Bangkok to the historic Hua Hin railway station. Both stations can be reached easily.
