The Bhuthorn Bangkok

On Phraeng Bhutthorn Road right in the heart of the preserved old town Bangkok, stands a small simply elegant place named The Bhuthorn.

Passing through its front door, you will let you step back in time to experience Bangkok as it used to be in the past era. The building itself has been registered to the Fine Art Department since 1999. The Bhuthorn, a century-old shophouse, offers 3 guestrooms each decorated in their own individual characteristics.

Use of Thai fabrics, antique furniture, age-old wooden floor and rattan accents help to create a colonial atmosphere while maintaining guests’ utmost comfort.

Situated in the privileged location of Bangkok's historic district, there are numerous attractions worth visiting just a walking distance away. Just a few steps from its door, is the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha. Golden Mountain, National Museum, Temple of Reclining Buddha, and Khao San Road are minutes away.

The owners are both architects who through their vast travels have learnt to appreciate the distinctive charms of people and stories of places. The Bhuthorn is the final line of their professional and travel experiences. The ultimate objective of creating this place is to perfectly fulfill your needs and to make your historical stay in Bangkok your most memorable.

Guest rooms at The Bhuthorn

Each of the guest rooms are named after the three princes and decorated accordingly. A Vintage atmosphere is enhanced with old teak furniture pieces, rattan furnishings, and the use of Thai printed fabric ‘Khomapastr’ and silk throws from the renowned ‘Jim Thompson’.

Standard facilities are included. All of the guest rooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms, and well-equipped with Satellite television, Wi-Fi Internet, a coffee table and a stationery set. A mini bar is available in the Nara Room only.
