The Fernery Lodge and Chalets

The Fernery Lodge is situated above a 30 meter waterfall, overlooking the Indian Ocean. It offers guests breath-taking views, beautifully appointed living areas, six superbly furnished suites, pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, and fine cuisine.

Each spacious Fernery Chalet has a private deck and cosy fireplace, and is beautifully decorated and equipped for a luxurious bed and breakfast or self-catering stay.

The Fernery Lodge

The magnificent Fernery Lodge is perched above a 30 meter waterfall in the Sand rift River gorge, with stunning views of the river mouth, Indian Ocean and Tsitsikamma Mountains.

It offers guests breath-taking views, beautifully appointed living areas, and 6 superbly furnished luxury suites which are tastefully and individually decorated.

Every effort has been made to ensure the guests comfort, from crisp percale linen and large luxurious bathrooms to under floor heating and satellite television.

Other features include heated towel rails, tea and coffee making facilities, a bar fridge stocked on request, digital safes, hair-dryers and cosy bath robes.

Open fire places in the lounge and dining room, a Jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool for the exclusive use of Lodge guests, are but some of the features that make the Lodge a really special destination.

Children under 10 years are accommodated in the Lodge, and this includes the fine dining Cellar Restaurant. There is however a cosy family dining room where groups with children under 10 years of age can enjoy dinner together. Children of all ages are welcome in the Lodge for breakfast and lunch.

Meals

All meals are prepared in the Lodge kitchen and served in the dining room or on the decks in fine weather. There is also a selection of light meals, picnics and barbeques that can be ordered for delivery to your chalet or honeymoon suite.
