Spacious and comfortable rooms
Armagh Country Lodge, being a purpose designed guest lodge offers rooms
which are spacious and very comfortable, all with lovely forest and mountain
views. Rooms have direct access to the natural fynbos gardens and private
patios on which to relax. Inside you will find original artworks, king
size beds with percale linen and duck down duvets of the finest quality.
Tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, gowns and slippers and a portfolio of area activities come as standard. Our cottages have been designed to offer maximum privacy and comfort with fireplaces, a full bouquet of television channels, refrigerators, tea and coffee and a small library of books and DVDs for your entertainment. Every effort has been made to make your stay a memorable one.
Tsitsikamma Mountain Spa
Tucked away in a fynbos paradise facing majestic mountain peaks with their
ever-changing hues, you will find the Tsitsikamma Mountain Spa. A haven
of peace and tranquillity where you may relax in serene privacy and allow
yourself to be pampered by our extremely gifted therapists who are highly
qualified and experienced and offer a wide range of treatments, all designed
with your well - being in mind. Choose the soothing aromatherapy, stress
relief massage, back and neck treatments, the ever so stunning hot-stone
therapy, or may be a stimulating session of reflexology.
Rafters Restaurant
Rafters Restaurant became a necessity in 1996 as so many guests just did not want to go anywhere after their arrival at The Armagh. The cuisine is real South African food with a hint of the Cape Malay influences of the past. 22 couverts on the newly added Fynbos Terrace extended the capacity to 52, meaning the surrounding Guest House occupants can also come to partake in dishes such as good old Lamb Bredie and the ubiquitous Bobotie.
Activities and Attractions
Hiking opportunities abound in this beautiful area. Tsitsikamma National
Park is right next door, Treetop Canopy Tours and Black water Tubing are
right in the village. Bicycle hire, horse riding, guided hikes and bird
watching are all on offer. Back to the Armagh for a swim in the salt water
pool and sun downers before dinner.
