The area is habitat to many different antelope, sable, nyala, bushbuck, waterbuck, eland, kudu, impala, red hartebeest, blesbok, steenbok and other species like warthog, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, brown hyena, hippo, rhino, leopard, buffalo, black wildebeest and gems buck.

5 Private chalets with own private wooden deck, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, mini bar, tea and coffee. Tasty meals are prepared by our chef in an Italian and South African way. Good South African wines are also available. Welcome drinks on arrival.

Facilities in Chalets:

The lodge comprises of: Three chalets each sleeping 2 and one chalet with two similar bedrooms that can sleep 4 people, three bush rooms (all rooms/chalets have en-suite bathrooms), a large dining area, lounge area, bar, pool, beauty room , upper viewing deck, lower viewing deck and boma in the gorge on the river bank all surrounded.

Bush Rooms - Three adjacent rooms, (sleeping 2 each) - Only used when a large group has filled all the lodge accommodation. The rooms are built a stone throw away from the gorge and the Lodge. They are not independently built, but adjacent to each other, so perfect for families or for a group of young people.

The rooms are tucked away under a canopy of wild olive trees that give them a peaceful and cool atmosphere. Game rooms around freely amongst the rooms. Each bush room has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, hot beverage station and access to all the services rendered by the Lodge.
