Other useful InformationOne of the most unique features of Parys is Golf Island, which is only approachable via a suspension bridge & is home to a spectacular 18-hole golf course, open all year round. The suspension bridge was constructed in 1919 & built high enough to allow access to the island, even when the river is in flood. The town center of Parys developed over a number of years into an authentic tourism paradise with interesting knick-knack corners, art, antique & coffee shops & visiting places.
