Situated
in the beautiful central Garden Route town of George at the foot of the
lovely Outeniqua Mountains, Avocet House offers quality self catering
or bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet cul de sac, in an upmarket
area within walking distance of the city center.
Avocet House Accommodation
Three spacious double, en suite rooms suitable for Bed & Breakfast
or self catering.
It sleeps a total of 6 people, although a stretcher can be put up for
a child.
Two of the rooms have a full bathroom with a shower, toilet, bath and
bidet, and the 3rd room has a shower and toilet.
These two adjoining rooms are ideal for a group or 3 or 4 people wanting
to self cater together as they share a dining room and kitchen.
The 3rd is separate with its own private entrance and ideal for 1 or
2 people and is like a bachelor flat. All rooms have separate entrances
and private patios.
Long term, self catering stays can be arranged in the bachelor flat unit
with a discount in rates. In this case the flat is serviced once a week.

General Information:
Unfortunately no pets are allowed and smoking is permitted on
the patios only. Your hosts speak English and Afrikaans.

We are in a quiet cul-de-sac, in an upmarket suburb close to town, hospitals
and golf courses(6kms from Fancourt, 1 Km form George golf course).
Your hosts Jenny and Thys Potgieter offer personal friendly service and
are willing to help with any queries about what to do in our area.
We are especially able to help with hiking information and are well situated
near the mountains for wonderful hiking.
