This room is often coupled with the Baobab Room to create a large family

Baobab Room
The Baobab Room features a queen-size bed with crisp linen and a gentle
throw to ensure a restful night. This is the largest of our rooms and
is equipped with ample cupboard space and an intimate table with cane
chairs, perfect for a light meal or a game of scrabble.
The room shares a bathroom, it has air conditioning, bar fridge, tea /
coffee facilities, TV with Local Channels / DSTV, Wi-Fi, radio and a hairdryer.
There is also a DVD Player, safe, garden views and smoking in the rooms
is prohibited.
Studio Flatlet
The spacious flatlet has a kitchenette, dining area and sitting area suitable
for families. It is fully equipped for self catering, it has double /
single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower only.

How To Get To Calais Country House
From Cape Town International Airport, stay in the left-hand lane as
you exit the airport. Immediately past the petrol station, take the Borcherd’s
Quarry exit. This road curves sharply to the left.
At the traffic lights, turn right onto the M10. Continue for approximately
2 km to the next major junction. Turn right onto the M12, signposted Stellenbosch
/ R300. This road continues for about 5 km until you reach the junction
with the R300.
Turn left onto the off-ramp. No need to turn off this road, as after
approximately 10 km the road turns to the right and joins the N1. Continue
on the N1 and take exit 47 to Stellenbosch / Klapmuts / Wellington. At
the end of the off-ramp, turn right. After 700 m, you will reach a four-way
stop.
Go straight across. Approximately 300 m on, turn left to Franschhoek.
Travel for 10 km and turn right at the T-junction. This is a straight
road into Franschhoek. Once in Franschhoek, travel along the main road
until you reach the post office, then turn left into Reservoir Road and
right into Calais Street.
