Nestled amongst coastal dune forest, we have created a personalised home environment for each Log Cabin. The 4-acre property is home to mpete buck, a variety of birds, monkeys and other wild life and is situated in Elysium, which is halfway between Durban and Margate on the Natal South Coast. Elysium beach is private, (very private) and clean.

Accommodation at The Laughing Forest
Currently 9 self-catering Log Cabins are scattered amongst the bush. All Cabins sleep 5 (1 double bed and three single beds). All Cabins are fully equipped and includes Lounge, Bedroom, Kitchen, Bathroom, Patio and Sundeck.
Each unit is also fitted with an alarm. The pool and entertainment area has TV with DSTV. All linen is supplied; please bring your own swimming towels. Fishing, diving, walking and cycling options are endless. Fishing Ski enthusiasts welcome!
