Summit Place Accommodation
Garden Cottage: Twin or king beds in spacious double
room which leads onto the private patio, bathroom includes separate wash
stands & separate bath & shower.
Kitchen is fully fitted including fridge / freezer, washing machine &
four plate stove & oven. The lounge with three seat table & large
couches is spacious and comfortable with patio doors leading out to the
four seat wooden table. Both rooms and patio look onto the large quiet
garden.
Garden Studio: Twin beds, an en-suite shower, and writing
desk, tea & coffee making facilities and patio doors leading onto
the patio & garden.
This room can inter lead to the lounge of the Garden Cottage if hired
with the Garden Cottage. This is not a self catering room unless hired
in conjunction with the Garden Cottage.
Grand Terrace Suite: A large warm spacious room with
twin or king beds and a sleeper couch. Coffee table, table and chairs
for eating / working, en suite private bathroom with separate shower &
bath and fully equipped kitchenette, 4 plate stove & oven, microwave,
bar fridge, toaster etc. Patio doors lead onto the balcony with seating
area overlooking the sparkling pool and the mountains.
Terrace Suite: A warm room with twin or king beds, couch,
coffee table & writing desk, en-suite private bathroom with separate
bath and shower and a fully equipped kitchenette, 4 plate stove &
oven, microwave, bar fridge, toaster etc. Patio doors lead onto the balcony
with café style seating overlooking a sparkling pool and the mountains.
Mountain Terrace Suite: A large corner room with mountain
views on two sides. Twin or king beds, couch & coffee table, writing
desk, fully equipped kitchenette, 4 plate stove & oven, microwave,
bar fridge, toaster etc, en suite bathroom with shower.
Pool Side Wing
Pool Side Master Suite: King bed within an expansive room with
a lounge suite. The room leads out to the pool and is flanked by a peaceful
garden.
It has a walk in wardrobe, en suite bathroom with separate wash stands,
sunken bath, walk in shower and additional outside shower within a garden
alcove. (Wheel Chair Friendly)
Pool Side Doubles: These bright and spacious doubles
with lovely pool and garden views are accessed by their shared passage
but also lead directly out onto the pool area.
They each have an en suite bathroom, desk & chair, T.V., DVD player,
hairdryer, safe and tea & coffee making facilities.
Summit Place Facilities
Percale linen, hairdryers, heated towel rails, under floor heating throughout,
TV & DVD facilities are available in all rooms.
Rooms have shared DSTV & MNET. Preference will be given to the movie
channel at the appropriate time so that the movie shows in your room.
Wifi internet is free. Laundry is available on site at a minimal charge.
A crackling fire in the lounge, gluhwein and board games are all that
is needed to end a fun filled winters day packed with cohesive elements,
team work & object lesson opportunities.
Rainy days need not be a damper as the big screen home cinema, stylish
kitchen in which to do a competitive "cook off", spacious lounge
and breakout areas provide the space for easily deploying plan B.
Summit Place itself has 24hr radio & telephone connection to ADT
Private Security.This means that if a beam triggers the alarm one of the
ADT Vehicles patrolling our area arrives shortly. And they do.
Each room also has a portable panic button the signal of which receives
a higher dispatch priority than standard signals at the ADT control room.
The property also has 10 foot walls on which is mounted an alarmed electric
fence with battery back up. The property is also well lit & two small
dogs are an additional source of warning and deterrent.
Summit Place offers an intimate conference venue ideal for companies preferring the boutique hotel type experience without the boutique price tag. With 8 tasteful rooms the typical three day conference for a team or department can be exclusively accommodated in a quiet & scenic context with friendly helpful service.
Although only a 20 minute drive from the city or airport there is an
other world charm to the Constantia Valley setting of Summit Place.
Consequently delegates will feel as if they are away from it all without
spending 4 tiring hours driving the round trip. This allows more time
for group cohesion & prevents a rushed programme. Urban proximity
does not mean the absence of rural pursuits.

With so many things to do just around the corner you will enjoy exploring
the many fantastic beaches, fine Restaurants and Curio Shops. Close by
you will also find Wine Farms, Golf Courses, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens,
Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Cape Point, to name but a few places.
How To Get To Summit Place
From Cape Town International Airport
From airport take N2 highway towards Cape Town. After 10km take the M3
highway south bound towards Muizenberg / S Suburbs.
Continue on the M3 highway & take the Kendal Road exit, turn right
onto Kendal Road (M38) and turn left onto Spaanschemat River Road (M42).
Go straight across the traffic lights. Drive past Peddlars Pub & Restaurant
on your right; turn 2nd right into Summit Road. Turn sharp right and look
for Summit Place, 15 Summit Road on your left.
