This charming stone and thatch home, situated on 2 acres of beautiful gardens with tennis court and heated swimming pool in the Constantia Valley is close to the city centre, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Golf courses, Beaches, Mountain walks, Shopping centres and restaurants.
Ikhaya Safari Lodge Accommodation
Accommodation consists of the Main House with 3 double bedrooms with en-suite
bathrooms, in colonial style with mosquito nets decorating the beds.
There are 3 separate suites with stone walls and thatch ceilings, decorated
in ethnic style. All rooms have tea trays. Also available is a beautiful
1 bedroom cottage under thatch. It has an open plan lounge, dining room
and kitchen.
IKhaya Safari Lodge offers a total of 7 rooms - 3 rooms in the main house,
each decorated in chic Africa colonial style, 3 ethnic styled garden suites
and a separate self-catering cottage.
All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets adorning the four poster beds
and have an en-suite bathroom with shower. Facilities include complimentary
tea / coffee trays, quality bathroom products.
AMANZI - A self-catering Garden Cottage
The self-catering cottage, with its four-r-poster bed adorned
with mosquito nets, has an en-suite bathroom with shower, and is situated
alongside the main house, with its own private entrance from the driveway.
The NGUNI Room
A double en-suite room upstairs, has an en-suite bathroom with
bath and shower opening on to its own private patio where guest can sit
outside admiring the spectacular views over the Constantia winelands.
The SPRINGBOK Room
An upstairs room which has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
Furnished with two single beds - more suited to single occupancy, or shorter
stays for double occupancy; also suited to accommodating children over
12 years accompanying parents.
UMHLABA - Garden Suite
This ethnic style suite consists of a well appointed lounge,
with separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower, looking out onto
the garden, with scenic views over the Constantia winelands.
The bedroom is equipped with mosquito nets adorning the four poster bed,
and has its own separate entrance from the terrace in front of the main
house.
UMLILO - Garden Suite
This ethnic style suite consists of a well appointed lounge,
with separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower, looking out onto
the garden, with scenic views over the Constantia winelands.
The bedroom is equipped with mosquito nets adorning the four poster bed,
and has its own separate entrance from the terrace in front of the main
house.
The ZEBRA Room
A double en-suite room on the ground floor, has an en-suite bathroom
with bath and shower looking out over the beautiful garden and scenic
views across the Constantia valley.
Ikhaya Safari Lodge Facilities
The boma, next to the pool and pool bar, is the perfect place to get
together for casual dinners and barbeques.

ATTRACTIONS / ACTIVITIES
This is the ideal point from which to explore Cape Town and the
Western Cape surrounds, close to the city centre, Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens, golf courses, beaches, mountain walks, shopping centres and top
restaurants. Half to three quarters of an hour's drive to Paarl, Franschhoek,
Stellenbosch and Somerset West to do some serious wine tasting.
How To Get To Ikhaya Safari Lodge
Drive out of Cape Town International Airport and travel south, towards
Muizenberg / Cape Town.
From Cape Town International Airport
Follow the road onto Settlers Way (N2 South), travel for 11.8km
and take left exit onto Rhodes Drive (Following signs to Kirstenbosch
/ Muizenberg).
Travel for 5.57km and at the traffic lights, turn right into Rhodes Ave
(Following signs to Kirstenbosch).Travel for 2.5km, passing Kirstenbosch
Gardens to a T Junction.
Travel right into Rhodes Ave, and travel for 4.5km. IKhaya Safari Lodge
is on your left hand side.
