Golf
There are a number of challenging golf courses nearby for the golf enthusiast to enjoy. Westlake, Clovelly, Steenberg, Royal Cape and Mowbray are all within easy reach. Green bookings can be made from the lodge.

Wine Estates
The famous wine estates of Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Constantia Uitsig surround you in the Constantia Valley. A cellar tour and wine tasting can be followed by lunch on the estate. Alternatively, spend a day visiting the wine Estates of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch.

Beaches
The Lodge is situated half way between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans only a few minutes drive from either the famous Atlantic Seaboard beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay or the False Bay beaches of Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and St. James. Hout Bay and Llandudno beaches are easy to reach just over Constantia Neck.

Boulders beach and the Cape Of Good Hope
Boulders Beach in Simonstown, home of the Jackass Penguin can be visited en route to the Cape of Good Hope where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. A scenic day tour of the Peninsula would incorporate all the above places in addition to the newly reopened Chapmans Peak Drive with its spectacular views.

Table Mountain
There are wonderful walks up the back of Table Mountain and through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. For the less energetic a trip to the Table Mountain Cableway Station takes you to the top of the mountain to experience unsurpassed views of the whole peninsula, Robben Island and the Twelve Apostles.

Cape Town City Centre and V & A Waterfront
The city centre and V&A Waterfront are within easy reach and City tours can be arranged to all the famous landmarks. Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium in the Waterfront, shop until you drop, or take a trip to Robben Island to visit the prison where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years of his life.

Green Point Stadium in Cape Town, has been specially built for the 2010 Fifa World Cup Soccer Tournament, with a retractable roof and a capacity of 68 000. It will host six first-round matches, one second-round, one quarter-final and one semifinal match.

How To Get To Constantia Valley Lodge

From Cape Town International Airport
Take the N2 from the Airport to Cape Town. Take the M3 to Muizenberg - not the M5 (you pass the M5 off ramp).
Travel pass the University of Cape Town and Rhodes Memorial on your right and continue on through Newlands and Bishopscourt down into the Constantia Valley.
Take exit M41 to Plumstead / Constantia / Hout Bay. At the stop sign, turn left into Constantia Main Road, at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Brommersvlei Road.

Turn first left into Rust en Vrede Avenue and then first right into Wycombe Avenue and continue to the end of the cul de sac.
The guest entrance to the lodge is at 18 Wycombe Avenue, the last house on the right hand side with the cream gates.
The name of the lodge is NOT advertised outside. We look forward to having you to stay with us.
