All rooms have a bath / shower en suite, television, air conditioning,
hairdryers, heated towel rails, electric blankets, tea / coffee tray and
a CD player.
Sea facing. rooms open onto a terrace and breakfast buffets are enjoyed
on the sea facing. pool terrace. An Honesty Bar, and a tea/coffee tray,
is available 24 hours a day.
Whale Cottage guests are welcome to use the hi-speed wireless internet
facility at no charge, but we request that the usage be of reasonable
duration.
Our new Bay Suite consists of a double sea facing. room with king bed,
and a single mountain facing room with single bed. It is ideal for a small
family, or for three friends wishing to share.
There is one bathroom, a kitchenette / lounge / dining room with flat
screen TV, seaview, and a small terrace in front of the main bedroom and
lounge. It is not air conditioned but there is a fridge, microwave, toaster,
kettle and its own own entrance.

Camps Bay is 30 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the
city centre and Table Mountain, 20 minutes from the V & A Waterfont,
and close to premier golf courses. Camps Bay offers a wide range of activities,
including shopping, walking, hiking, swimming, surfing, tennis, squash,
cycling, as well as plays at the Theatre on the Bay.
How To Get To Whale Cottage Camps Bay
FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
From the airport take the N2 highway in the direction of the CITY and
later WATERFRONT. The N2 automatically
becomes the M62 at Buitengracht Street.
Carry on driving on the M62, which changes its name to New Church Street,
Kloofnek Road and then to Camps Bay Drive as you drive between Table Mountain
on your left and Lion's Head on your right.
Follow Camps Bay Drive down into Camps Bay, following the curves, until
you reach a 3-way stop. Drive through it and turn right at the next street
corner, into First Crescent. Our parking entrance is the first gate on
your left.
