Bingley Villa
The five star Bingley Place in the heart of Cape Towns famous Camps Bay
is an elegant, double-storied house which can be rented out as a luxurious
5 bedroom en suite self-catering Villa yet fully serviced Monday to Friday
with pool, or as 2 separate self-contained homes.
There is no internal access between the two floors and they therefore
have their own entrances. This is the perfect Camps Bay accommodation
for those travelling with teenagers, multiple families or a larger group.
Upstairs contains three bedrooms while the downstairs Villa contains
two bedrooms all of which have showers and/or bathrooms en suite
Only the finest percale linen is used and to wake up every morning and
see the breath-taking ocean and mountain views right on your doorstep
is an utter treat - one never gets tired of the beauty! It is addictive!
Both levels have fully equipped kitchens with all the modern conveniences
that you might need to make your stay extremely enjoyable and comfortable.
Other features that make Bingley Villa so special are the fans and heater
panels in each room, air conditioning in the upstairs living and dining
area with cosy fireplaces on both levels.
There is 1GB free wireless internet connection (with option to buy more
at your own expense), cable TV, DVD player, surround sound system and
an armed response alarm system.
For those who appreciate our star studded African sky, enjoy a romantic
bubble bath in our outdoor Victorian baths or use the shower after a day
at the beach.
For those who are musical we have a piano upstairs and a guitar downstairs.
Entertaining is easy while you enjoy sun downers around the pool or the
downstairs patio followed by a good old South African braai (barbeque).
There is a single garage to lock your car in as well as 2 dedicated off
street parking bays.
Bingley House
The stunning upper level of Bingley Place is known as Bingley House and
has three gorgeous bedrooms all en suite The two main bedrooms have king-sized
beds, the finest percale linen, ocean views and the added feature of large
baths opening up into the bedrooms.
The third bedroom (two singles which, on request, may be made up into
a king-sized bed) has its own private patio with views of the ocean and
mountain as well as a secluded outdoor Victorian bath in the garden!
The modern open plan, fully equipped kitchen looks through the sitting
room with fireplace, to the glass enclosed balcony which can be opened
up completely to bring the sea and mountains into the house!
The kitchen also leads into an elegant dining room with beautiful eight-seater
Victorian table plus piano! From the dining room you step out onto the
pool deck which is perfect for elegant entertaining and dipping into the
crystal clear pool which overlooks the sea not by 30m away!
To stay in Cape Town and not visit Camps Bay is unforgivable, but to stay in Camps Bay accommodation and not stay at Bingley Place is almost criminal! We warn you, however, that once you have stayed here, you won't want to leave.
Bingley Garden Apartment
The downstairs unit of Bingley Place is not as spacious as the upper level
but it has two beautifully appointed bedrooms with showers en suite
The fully equipped kitchen offers all the modern conveniences and the
combined sitting/dining area spills out onto a private patio where meals
or cocktails can be enjoyed to the full while soaking up the beauty of
the sea and sunset.
There is also an outdoor shower and a private bath area for a unique
experience of bathing under the African stars with the surf pounding the
rocks below.
Antiques, original artworks, and beautiful vintage furniture from the
1920's are creatively coupled with modern conveniences to make this unique
home welcoming and cosy.
Bingley Place is fully serviced 5 days a week, so there is no need for
you to clean or even make your beds while holidaying.
This spoiling, coupled with the amazing views, Barley Bay beach directly
across the road, the intimate Theatre on the Bay virtually next door,
a 320 m stroll to the famous Camps Bay beach with its trendy promenade
of pavement cafes, restaurants, bars and shops, makes Bingley Place's

How To Get To Bingley Place
From Cape Town International Airport
Take the N2 from Cape Town International Airport to Cape Town. Follow
the Eastern Boulevard to the city. Take the M62 towards Table Mountain
and the Cableway and continue over Kloof Nek into Camps Bay.
Turn right (second road after you have gone over the neck) into Geneva
Drive which winds all the way down to the M6 (Victoria Road).
At traffic lights, turn left into Victoria Road, travel about 250 m passing
Link Road and then the Police Station on your left.
Just a little further along, you will see a large tarred parking area
on your left and a white painted garage at the end of the car park.
Bingley Place is directly above it and is approximately 250 m from the
traffic light. Alternatively one can take the M6 which is the coastal
route via Sea Point, Clifton to Camps Bay. Bingley Place is situated on
the M6 (105 Victoria Road, Camps Bay).
