This small exclusive seaside suburb is adjacent to Camps Bay en route
to Llandudno and Hout Bay.
Bakoven is 30 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the Cape Town
city centre and Table Mountain, 20 minutes from the V&A Waterfront
and close to premier golf courses.
Bakoven and the nearby Camps Bay offers a wide range of activities, including
shopping, walking, hiking, swimming, surfing, tennis, squash and cycling.
Productions at the Theatre on the Bay are popular.
There is a lovely little beach called Bakoven Beach. The larger Camps
Bay beach with over 25 restaurants and bars, is nearby.
Most accommodation is within walking distance of the beach and offers
magnificent views across the Atlantic Ocean as well as stunning mountain
views.
