It features rooms in a cottage-style facility where in accommodation come in five categories. These are all smoke-free rooms and will make everyone's stay comfortable.

Polaris Dive and Beach Resort was originally opened in June 1998 under German-/Filipino management. Since then it is managed carefully by Franz Baumann and his wife Maria. They are assisted by additional local divemaster, instructor and the always helpful native boatmen, familiar with the place. In accord with nature today' s Polaris Dive and Beach Resort was gradually developed.

Directions to Polaris Dive Resort

If your point of origin is outside the Philippines you can take a flight either from Manila or Cebu before you go for a next flight or boat ride to Bohol. A domestic flight from Manila to Tagbilaran flights will take you 1 hour and 15 minutes.Arriving in Tagbilaran Airport you can ride a van or bus going to Mocpoc Sandingan Island which would take 1 hour. In Mocpoc, an outrigger boat brings you to the neighbor Cabilao Island or directly to the resort.

The second option is to take a flight from Manila to Cebu which is 45 minutes. From Cebu you can either travel going to Tagbilaran Bohol or going to Argao, Cebu.If you choose Tagbilaran as the next destination upon arriving in Cebu airport, then ride a taxi going to Pier 4 and take a ferry going to Tagbilaran seaport. Fast craft ferries would take one and a half hours while regular ones is four hours. Arriving at Tagbilaran seaport you can ride a van or bus going to Mocpoc Sandingan Island which would take 1 hour. In Mocpoc, an outrigger boat brings you to the neighbor Cabilao Island or directly to the resort.

If you choose to take Argao, Cebu as the next destination upon arriving Cebu airport then ride a jeepney or taxi going to South Bus Terminal which would take 1 hour and 30 minutes.Arriving in South Bus Terminal on Tuesday or Saturday, ride a bus going to Argao that would be for 1 hour. Respectivey the specific place in Argao you need to reach is the beach of Looc. From there public outrigger boats leave around 1 pm and will bring you directly to the Beach of Cabilao Island for 2 hours. As there is no exact departure time be sure to be early enough at the beach of Looc. If you want an organized transfer going to Cabilao Island then you can ask the resort to arranged it for you.
