Calauit Safari Tour Take a trip to the Philippines’ premiere wildlife sanctuary, Calauit Island. See various species of exotic and endangered Philippine bred African animals as well as Palawan endemic animals roaming freely.

Island Hopping Hop into our boats as we tour you to three uninhabited islands. Allow us to enthrall you with the immaculate white sand beaches and the sights underwater.

Bottom Fishing In lieu of a fishing rod, try your luck with a reel of nylon and some bait out in the open sea. If you do get lucky, bring back your catch and we’ll cook it for you.

Hiking Hike up Hunter’s Peak and see the fantastic view of the surrounding bays and beautiful islands in the South China Sea. It’s not an easy climb, but the view when you get to the top is worth it. Best to wear rubber shoes.
Snorkeling See fish and corals of all colors, shapes and sizes. Our Guest Service Officers will be happy to guide you. Mask, fins, snorkel and life vests for adults and children are available for use free of charge.

Scuba Diving

Ship Wreck “Kyokuzan Maru” 30 minutes by banca. Max. depth 35m. This Japanese freighter measures about 152m long and lies almost upright. The main structures remain intact. It carries in one of its holds a car and truck.This wreck providesshelter to batfishes and substrate for the ubiquitous bivalves. Fusiliers, trevallies, barracudas and rays are occasionally seen.
Dugong Watching A full day excursion along the coast to the feeding grounds of about 20 resident dugongs.
Apo Reef Natural Park 3 hours by banca. Depth 50m. Very dramatic drop offs down to about 400m. The steep walls are well covered with corals, sponges, tunicates, nudibranchs and slugs. The coral formation at the plateau is magnificent. Green and hawksbill turtles, and a multitude of fish including damselfish, butterflyfish, batfish, surgeonfish, snappers, fusiliers and trevallies are common.
Tara Island Tara Islands with 7 new dive sites, great spots for micro life and soft corals.
Club Paradise House Reef 30 minutes by banca Shore entry. Depth 3-17 m. This meandering reef features different species of tunicates, sponges, sea stars and sea cucumbers. An aggregation of giant clams is located at 12 m. Also available for special arrangements, Barracuda Lake and Siete Picados in Coron Island and Ship Wrecks in Coron Bay.

Directions to El Rio Y Mar

El Rio y Mar Resort is a quick 60 minute flight from Manila to Busuanga via leading domestic airlines in thew Philippines. Our Guest Service Officer shall meet you upon arrival at Busuanga Airport and accompany you on a short 30 minute land trip and a scenic 30 minute boat trip to El Rio y Mar Resort. El Rio y Mar Island is a 45 minute flight from Manila to Busuanga and another 30 minutes by land or boat to the resort.
