Built in the 1960s by the couple Romeo and Evangeline de la Cruz, the house is now a 7 bedroom bed and breakfast consisting of 5 standard rooms and two family rooms. Dubbed BNKY for a play on Bingkay, is a term of endearment for the third child to whom the house was bequeathed.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood at Calle Amboy, El Nido poblacion. BNKY offers restful sleep in fan ventilated or air-conditioned rooms on 6 inch thick mattresses on sturdy narra beds, hot and cold showers, and wifi connection. Music lovers may choose to play the piano, violin, or guitar. Make BNKY your home away from home!

Directions to BNKY Bed and Breakfast

By Air
El Nido is a municipality in Northern Palawan. The town itself is part of mainland Palawan but note that Palawan is a large province. You can take a direct flight from Manila to El Nido wich is approximately 55 minutes using a 50-seater ATR aircraft. This charter plane option is available only from the private airport owned by El Nido Resort which is expensive. Second option, is to take a flight from Manila or Cebu going to Puerto Princesa which is approximately 1 hour. Arriving from Puerto Princesa you can take a private van or go to San Jose Bus Terminal and ride a bus. Arriving at El Nido it would take 30 minutes going to the hotel. Just a 20 minutes from El Nido Town.

By Land
Arriving at Puerto Princesa Airport you can sign up for a van right upon your arrival. Just check from desk of operator there. If you are staying for a night in Puerto Princesa you can sign up for a private van via hotels and It would be an easy four to five hour ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido with no stops along the way unlike the bus. If you want a cheaper transportation you can take a bus from San Jose Bus Terminal. It would be a long 6 hours drive going to El Nido. The house can be reached by tricycle. All you need to say is Tay Miloys Inn and the tricycle will bring you there.

By Sea
The El Nido Port from Buena Swerte services a number of ferry line from Manila, Busuanga, Coron route which is approximately 30 hours.
