Welcome to Bahay Kalipay or House of Happiness Detox and Yoga Retreat, where we embody sacred simplicity in our day to day living and communal space. Whoever comes to visit is enveloped in an atmosphere of home and hearth, friendship and family.

Bahay Kalipay Raw Food and Retreat House opened its doors in 2007 inspired by Inner Dance, which led to our underlying principle of personal evolution through expanded consciousness. This heightened state of awareness created a deepened relationship with our nature and with Nature, attuning us to the basic truth that everything is energy, is vibration. And it has informed the way we view food.

We are committed to supporting your holistic lifestyle with our detox and yoga retreats including our juice fast and weight loss program, colon cleanse and other natural detoxes that promote a yogic and conscious way of living.

Accommodation

All five rooms in the Main House are on the third floor with views of the evergreen Palawan horizon. We have 2 single rooms, 2 double rooms with a balcony, and a triple ideal for families. All rooms are open-air, equipped with an electric fan and mosquito netting to keep the bugs at bay while sleeping.

Some rooms have a balcony and/or split level lofts for meditation or additional storage. Alternatively, guests can choose to sleep in the open air on the the landing area of Ma-I space, with simple beddings and mosquito nets.

Directions to Bahay Kalipay

If your point of origin is outside the Philippines yo can take a flight to Puerto Princesa once you arrive in Manila airport. Manila to Puerto Princesa flights will take less than an hour. Time duration goes the same way if your point of origin is from Cebu. Arriving in Puerto Princesa take a taxi going to the hotel which will take just 20 minutes.

There are also ferries that sails weekly from Manila to Puerto Princesa that would take you 18 to 22 hours. Arriving in Puerto Princesa take a taxi going to the hotel which will take 20 minutes.
