The Alona 42 resort is themed around the race of hyper intelligent pan dimensional beings who built a computer named Deep Thought to Alona 42 Resort Logo. Welcome to alona 42 Resort Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines, calculate the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. When the answer was revealed to be 42, Deep Thought explained that the answer was incomprehensible because the beings did not know what they were asking. It went on to predict that another computer, more powerful than itself would be made and designed by it to calculate the question for the answer.

We offer our guests a newly opened resort Alona 42 Resort. Alona 42 Resort is about 300 meters from the famous Alona Beach in a central but quiet location. The western end of the beach is about 3 to 4 minutes walk. The main facilities, bars and restaurants of Alona Beach are then about 5 more minutes walk.Our resort was opened in January 2012 and is under German management.

The resort currently offers 6 double rooms with spacious terrace in each room for rent. All rooms are comfortable, affordable and secluded in a quiet section of Alona Beach. We offer a tranquil stay with warm welcomes from our Boholano staff. Rooms and Buildings are built to European standards. To relax you can also use our landscaped gardens with tropical plants for soaking up the warm sun or relaxing with a drink in our bar which provides more than adequate seating. Directions to Alona42 Resort

If your point of origin is outside the Philippines you can take a flight either from Manila or Cebu before you go for a next flight or boat ride to Bohol. A domestic flight from Manila to Tagbilaran flights will take you 1 hour and 15 minutes. Arriving in Tagbilaran Airport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel. A 3 minute walk from the famous Alona Beach.

The second option is to take a flight from Manila to Cebu which is 45 minutes. After getting out to Cebu airport ride a taxi going to Pier 4 and take a ferry going to Tagbilaran seaport. Fast craft ferries would take one and a half hours while regular ones is four hours. Arriving at Tagbilaran seaport you can ride a van or bus going to the hotel which is just 25 minutes.
