Execellent Place to Stay

For location, The Adriatico Arms Hotel cannot be faulted. It is in the center of Manila's liveliest eating/entertainment district, the Nakpil Street and surroundings. Yet the hotel itself is quiet and restfully subdued, while the rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Next to the foyer is an attractive Parisian-style cafe where you can sit and watch the beautiful people who converge on Nakpil Street for a night out in the many bars, cafes, restaurants and discos around.

The rooms are clean daily maid service and the value is excellent. The rooms facing Nakpil Street can get loud as the area nightlife goes on til 3 or 4 AM. Ask for a room facing the back to avoid the noise. The hotel has front desk staff and security guards at the front door 24hr a day. The hotel doesn't have a pool or an elevator or the $100US price. The Adriatico Arms isn't a five star hotel but it is an excellent place to shed your tourist cloak and get out and mix with the wonderful and colorful locals.
