Mowani Mountain Camp

Twyfelfontein - Namibia

Between the Ugab and the huab River in southern Damaraland ies a vast, beautiful unspoilt wilderness and unsurpassed desert scenery, unusual geological formations, archaelogical sites and a unique variety of fauna & flora lies Mowani Mountain Camp - meaning “Place of God”.

Nestling among rugged boulders at a high elevation, affording panoramic views over the pristine surroundings, the camp creates the impression of an African village.
Great care has been taken with the design of the recreational areas. A pool with deck is lodged between boulders, while the Boma of Mowani marks a special area for sundowners and campfire discussions.
The luxury-tents are elegantly decorated with furnishings especially designed for convenience and comfort.
All Accommodation include a guided nature walk, transfer from and to the Twyfelfontein airstrip and the conservancy levy.

The Tents: Twin bedded, tented accommodation with en-suite facilities. Some of the tents have outdoor bathroom facilities. View Tents face the west including the distant view while standard tents face the east or north east and a view into a valley.

Luxury Room: Double bedded, thatched rondavel, partly with canvas walls, en-suite facilities and west facing.

Suite: A luxury thatched suite with butler service, with a deck, private lounge equipped with a satellite television and CD music centre, private dining and bar facilities, a double room with en-suite bathroom as well as a bush bath and shower with a view, a laundry service and a minibar.
