Hammerstein Lodge Maltahohe - Namibia

 

Hammerstein Lodge is situated between Swakopmund and Luderitz and nestled between the Nubib and Tsaris mountains and it is an ideal stopover for travellers to the south of Namibia.
A few kilometers from the Lodge, rocky outcrops of massive granite boulders with Bushman paintings conjure up visions of a giant's playground.
It is from one of these boulders - an enormous rock shaped like a hammer - that "Hammerstein", the German name of the farm, was derived.
At Hammerstein you will experience amazing encounters with our tame leopard, the cheetah, as well as our caracals.
It is our combination of vast landscapes with outcrops of massive granite boulders and meeting wildlife in their natural habitat that makes a visit to Hammerstein Lodge and Camp a superb experience.
The lodge offers a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets and tastes by offering self-catering units, camping sites, catered rooms and bed and breakfast packages.

We offer bed and breakfast, self catering and camping accommodation options to our guests. The are 35 en-suite double rooms, 5 self catering suites and all the rooms are equipped with double or twin beds, fans and with en-suite bathrooms.
