Hilltop Guest House

This beautiful Bavarian style house was build in 1954 as a art studio. The house was also fitted with an Oregon pine deck extending around the first floor ensuring unobtrusive views of the surrounding mountains and city of Windhoek.

During 1999 it was converted into a guest house, boasting facilities you would rather expect to find in a larger hotel, but it management has ensured that it stay true to the warmth and welcoming nature of a guesthouse.

Directions to Hilltop Guest House

From the International Airport you arrive in Windhoek at a T-Junction with Sam Nujoma Drive. Turn right into Sam Nujoma Drive.

At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Nelson Mandela Avenue.

Go straight through the second set of traffic lights you come to on Nelson Mandela Avenue and you will pass Von Eckenbrecher Street on the left.

The next street to the left is Schanzen Road. Turn left into Schanzen Road and take the first right into Promenaden Rd and drive until you have to stop for a stop sign.

This is a very sharp intersection with Lessing Street. You have to make a very tight turn left into Lessing Street up the hill.

We are number 12 Lessing Street – the first house on the left.
