Our guests have access to 22000 hectare of unspoilt, beautiful farmland to explore.

The main house was built by "German Schutztruppe" in early 1900’s and is now the residence of the von Schauroth family. Rich in history and culture, Savanna Guest Farm is a traditional Namibian sheep farm where true Namibian hospitality, local food and good wine dominates.

Our much respected "Dorper Sheep Stud" is our pride and we produce high quality produce for both local and international markets. We also train Arabian Horses for competitive endurance riding and are active members of the Namibian Endurance Ride Association.

A 120km drive will take you to the well known "Fish River Canyon".

Accommodation & Meals at Savanna Guest farm
We offer 3 self catering family rooms with en-suite bathroom of a shower only. The rooms accommodate 5 guests, has 5 beds with the main one being a double. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, tea / coffee facilities and ceiling fans.

There are 2 double rooms with en-suite bathroom (shower only) accommodating 2 guests and the rooms have tea / coffee facilities We serve a hearty breakfast to our guests with the smell of freshly made coffee and bacon filling the air.
You will be served by our friendly staff ensuring you get a good start to a beautiful day. Dinner is available by prior arrangement. Dinner consists of local food, specializing in lamb from the farm and prime venison cuts.
A romantic candlelight dinner is prepared for our guests from our local farm kitchen. All food is freshly prepared in our kitchen from the best organic foods locally available.

We serve a hearty breakfast to our guests, with the smell of freshly made coffee and bacon, filling the air. You will be served by our friendly staff, ensuring you get a good start to a beautiful day!!

Dinner is available by prior arrangement. Dinner consists of local food, specializing in lamb from the farm and prime venison cuts. A romantic candlelight dinner is prepared for our guests from our local farm kitchen. Good food and good company with a glass of good wine is the best way to end the day!!
