Just a 5-minute drive from the beach, Nkumbe Wildlife Estate offers a unique outdoor experience, nested in the coastal forest, ideally located just 15 km from the South African border and close to both Ponta do Ouro and Ponta Malongane.

Our fully serviced and equipped luxury tented camp is set in a spectacular coastal forest setting.

Accommodation comprises 5 luxury, 2 sleeper en-suite walk-in tents. Each tent, discreetly positioned for maximum privacy, tinted grano flooring, a well-appointed bathroom, fan and spacious verandah opening onto the forest views. All linen is provided.
Facilities include a swimming pool and an open-plan living area comprising a fully equipped kitchen and lounge. Each tent has it’s own allocated fridge/freezer and lock up dry storage cupboard. Weber braais, gas cookers and a microwave are supplied.
Tents may be booked individually or exclusively by a group

Chalet 6 • 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom • 4 sleeper
The two-bedroom chalet comprises a bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, fan and air-conditioning, and a second bedroom located in the loft with twin beds, a fan and en-suite. The living room is cooled by a fan and consists of lounge and fully equipped kitchen. A large verandah is furnished with outdoor seating and a table, and an outdoor shower is provided for those hot days. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

Chalet 7 • 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom • 4 sleeper
Comprising two bedrooms, both fitted with queen-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and fans. The central living area consists of an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and lounge. The living room opens onto a large verandah complete with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining, and an outdoor shower located just off the deck. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

Villa 32 • 4 Bedroom 4 Bathroom • 8 sleeper
The four-bedroom house comprises two living areas. The main house features two bedrooms fitted with a queen-size bed and twin beds respectively, both have fans and en-suite bathrooms. A timber walkway joins the main house to a second living area, offering two additional bedrooms fitted with a queen-size and twin beds respectively. The rooms have the same facilities, and if the weather gets a little too hot, there is also an outdoor shower.

Ceiling fans are positioned above the central living area comprising open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. A large verandah is located off the central living area, which has outdoor lounge furniture and opens onto views of the wetlands. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

House 33 • 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom • 4 sleeper
Comprising two bedrooms, both fitted with 2 single beds, en-suite bathrooms and fans. Ceiling fans are positioned above the central living area comprising of an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and lounge. The living room opens onto a large veranda complete with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.
