Rooms at MAHAVELO, are standard 2 stars comfortable hotel and arranged with taste and lay out each one private sanitary with hot water. They are spacious, comfortable and made to receive one, two or three people.

We also have family rooms with 1 bed for 2 people and 2 bunk beds. All our rooms have private toilets and hot water.

We put at your disposal, two suites, six rooms First Class (air conditioning, minibar and satellite channel), 4 family rooms and 6 double rooms.

Our restaurant "ALLAMANDA"s open everyday, noon and night. After 10 years of existence, we are able to offer the best service with good value and corresponding to a real 2 star hotel.
No bad surprise !
Chef Fidele and his team offers a varied menu with French, Chinese and Malagasy specialties, developed from local products, which you can enjoy from the terrace under umbrellas, or indoors.

New: Now you can choose between ZEN space or space for conventional take your lunch or dinner.
At your request, we can use Hallal products for Indian and Mauritian specialties !

The breakfast service starts at 6 o'clock in the morning. If you leave earlier, or if you arrive late in the evening, at your request, we can serve you a snack in your room. We can also arrange a buffet.

Activities around the Hotel Mahavelo
If you skip one or two days in Antananarivo, you can combine visits to the Animal Park CROC FARM located 3kms from the airport, the Lemur's Park which is 22 kms from the center, shops and workshops of ship models, Workshop marquetry African Colors, the center city and the handicraft market of La Digue, etc ...

The aromatic massage parlor is already operational, you just have to choose best oil or cream for you!

Association Mahavelo in Antananarivo Madagascar
Since the 2002 political crisis, the MAHAVELO involved in social assistance and for the development of disadvantaged children located in the village next to the hotel. «l'Association Mahavelo» is an association created by the owner responsible for:

• Health • The education of children • Food ... etc.
5 students have successfully passed the CEPE and continue their studies at college!


In order to help the association, we are organizing an exhibition of paintings, some of the money collected be used to purchase supplies for the next school year. There are more and more applications, but the Association can not satisfy all.

As a customer, you can also participate in the activities of the Association. We offer, as far as possible, to bring with you: notebooks, school supplies, old clothes or old toys, or toothbrushes, toothpaste or soap ... you can submit directly to children MAHAVELO if you wish. Congratulations to all the sponsors and clients MAHAVELO, which are tourism and humanitarian at the same time!
