At the front of our Poipu Beach property is our original 1938 plantation home, completely restored in late 2013 to the warm Hawaiian plantation style of that era. Features included mahogany wood floors, hardwood furnishings, custom Kauai subject art, quiet air conditioning and much more!

A full breakfast is included, along with daily housekeeping. On our spacious grounds, you will find our gardens, sun chairs and hot tub that all guests are welcome to use.

Bed & Breakfast Inn Suites

Alil royal suite. The Ali’i Suite is the most special with over 700 square feet of old Hawaii style. It boasts a hand carved four poster King bed, wood floors with rugs, high ceiling, sitting area around a Lava fireplace, spacious dressing and bath area with two person whirlpool tub, wet bar, quiet air conditioning, large TV, free island phone & wireless router with many other features. You will enjoy your own balcony to see the sunsets, bright stars and a peek of the ocean.

Maile Suite.This is the home’s original Master Bedroom with a spacious King bedroom with sitting area, desk, four poster carved bed, dressing room, a full bathroom with large luxurious shower. A private balcony includes chairs for those reading or star gazing moments.

Garden bedroom suite

The two Garden suites are bedroom size with carved hardwood Queen beds, desk and hardwood seating, private bathroom with shower, flat screen TV, wireless router, quiet air conditioning, ceiling fan, hardwood floors and wonderful Kauai subject art pieces.

Guests of these suites have use of a shared refrigerator and free island phone located in the common areas of the house. Green views outside of several windows. Housekeeping will service your suite daily and breakfast is included from 8 to 9AM daily.

Activities

World Class Golf
Two of the most popular golf courses on Kauai, the Kiahuna and Poipu Bay (home of the PGA Grand Slam) are within a mile of Poipu Plantation. Kukuiolono 9 hole course for under $10 is our little secret.

Botanical Gardens and shopping in the Poipu area
Within a few minutes drive from Poipu Plantation are the National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Allerton garden tours are offered daily as well as Mc Bryde Garden, home to the largest ex situ collection of native Hawaiian flora in existence. At no charge, visitors can wander through the lush gardens at the Allerton visitor center, across from Spouting Horn.

Hiking and Walking on Kauai
Our neighborhood is a wonderful place for morning walks and runs for the more energetic of visitors. From our place, walk up the street to Makauena Point for great views at Kauai south point. A perfect spot to watch the whales in season and enjoy the rhythm of the ocean. Walking our small street toward Poipu Beach park and continue along the water past other resorts to the Sheraton.
