While we were living on the east coast, two of our most favourite vacation spots were the Sugarloaf Mountains of Maryland and Ocean City. We have often dreamed of living in a place where mountain and ocean lived side by side. When we came to Hawai'i we saw that this dream could come true.

We enjoy the slower space of life on the Big Island and come here as often as we can. We like to have as many comforts of home as possible when we are on holiday and we like to think that our guests feel the same way. We have a private beach a few streets down from our house with hiking trails along the shoreline dotted with tidal pools. There are restaurants and other sources of entertainment within half an hour's drive from the house.
