Dining

The Waldorf on London is a centrally located restaurant and function venue in Canberra City. We provide a relaxed atmosphere for an after-work drink, or a meal before the theatre. We are open Monday to Friday from 6.30am until 9.30pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We open on Saturday at 7.30am for breakfast, and again at 6pm for dinner. On Sunday we open at 7.30am for breakfast only. In addition to our in-house services, we can cater to local offices as well. Conference

At the Waldorf on London we have three fully equipped rooms that can be configured to your particular event requirements. The Majura and Murrumbidgee Rooms can be combined to provide a larger space equivalent to the Chatham House Room. Set up of the room includes pens, note pads, mints and chilled filtered water. All rooms are equipped with a mounted whiteboard and retractable projection screen. Please note the Majura and Murrumbidgee Rooms have a retractable wall.

Directions to Waldorf Apt

By Plane Canberra International Airport only serve flights from Melbourne and Sydney. There are flights almost hourly to Sydney and frequent flights to Melbourne. It takes approximately 50 minutes from Sydney, 1 hour from Melbourne, 2 hours from Brisbane and Adelaide, and 4 hours from Perth. The hotel is a 20 minute ride from Canberra.

By Train There are a lot of train connections offers scenic route going to Canberra from Sydney. The train rides takes 4 to 5 hours. Melbourne trains also serve routes going to Canberra.

By Bus All coaches from Canberra stop at the Jolimont Centre, in the city centre and immediately across the road from the Canberra local bus interchange.

By Car The drive from Sydney to Canberra is 290 km and takes around three and a half hours from the Sydney CBD, less from outer suburbs in Sydney. The drive from Melbourne to Canberra is 650 km and takes roughly eight hours on the Hume and Barton Highways, again mostly on dual-carriageway roads.
