Toddy's is a home away from home run for backpackers by backpackers. Come and experience Australia with people who have lived it and want to share their love for it. Toddy’s Backpackers is a fun, vibrant and clean backpacker hostel in Alice Springs.Toddy’s is conveniently positioned (Gap Road) to provide backpacker dorm accommodation to international backpackers visiting the Red Centre of Australia. We also have private rooms available for backpacking couples.

With a Travel Shop on-site, we can help you with all your travel and touring needs, and with Australian managers and owners, we want to share the best of our home with you! Come and have a chat if you want some insight for your future travels.

For your convenience, Toddy's Bar is also right here on-site and offers great value, delicious and even healthy dining options, as well as some fabulous drinks specials. With live music and our own campfire, Toddy's is the place to go for the best pre-drinks in town, with your very own shuttle bus to take you on for those who want to hit the town.

Toddy’s strives to create a friendly, fun and energetic atmosphere where fellow backpackers can mix, have a drink in the bar, tell each other about their travel experiences in our country, enjoy each other’s company and enjoy going on tour together. Our service is friendly and personalised.

Our staff has some of the best professionals in the backpacking world available and have travelled themselves extensively. From the owners and management to the housekeeping team, the whole Toddy’s crew will continue to strive to make your stay with us as pleasant and as memorable as possible, for all the right reasons!

All dorm rooms and double rooms come complete with sheets, pillow and pillowcase. In cooler months we also provide blankets or sleeping bags to keep you warm.
