The Gallery Bed and Breakfast is a luxury, boutique guesthouse offering a peaceful and comfortable stay. Situated in Blackwood, South Australia, it is only 20 minutes from the Adelaide central business district, 20 minutes from the Adelaide Hills townships and 20 minutes from the beautiful Adelaide beaches.

For the wine lovers, it is only 40 minutes from the acclaimed southern vales wineries where superb wines are produced for tasting and purchase.

FEATURES

The Gallery Bed and Breakfast feels like your home away from home as it provides all the comforts you look for when travelling. Totally private accommodation set amongst the tall gum trees which are home to the plethora of lorikeets, rosellas, blue wrens and the occasional koala. A winter creek winds its way past the panoramic windows and you can take a walk along the winding path that follows the creek bed.

THE BEDROOM

The bedroom has magnificent views of the outdoor living area featuring a fish pond and water fountain. The queen size bed has a downy quilt as well as lightweight blankets and a selection of pillows to suit all preferences. Reading lamps, alarm clock and radio and air-conditioning make the room comfortable all year round.

THE LIVING SPACE

The living space has everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a large flat screen television, DVD player and CD/Stereo with a selection of CDs and DVDs for your entertainment. The library is stocked with books and games to while away the hours. The well equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare a tasty breakfast with the gourmet provisions stored in the refrigerator. A welcome pack of chocolates and wine are provided to welcome you to our establishment.

THE BATHROOM

The bathroom has a shower and separate bath with luxury toiletries and towels to pamper you. There is a separate vanity area with hairdryer and a separate toilet. Perfect for the private traveller or romantic couple to indulge and relax in.

THE GARDEN

From the moment you walk down the steps into the private garden you will be surrounded by natural bush and country decor. Take some time during your stay to wander along the creek path and explore the garden with its abundance of plants and trees. The garden boasts a tranquil and peaceful ambience. The garden seating provides a pleasant spot for morning tea or an afternoon drink under the columns.

You could easily forget you are in the suburbia while you watch the spectacular birds flying past or nesting in the trees. Rainbow lorikeets, eastern rosellas, Adelaide rosellas, blue wrens, red wattle birds, owls, pigeons and magpies populate the trees in the garden and feed on seeds from the bird-feeders or bathe in the bird baths. Koalas occasionally perch in the gum trees for a feed and a nap.
