The Capricornia Motel is a family-owned-and-operated budget motel located on Darwin's waterfront just five minutes by bus from the centre of Darwin city (bus stop right in front of motel).

We are among the least expensive accommodation houses in Darwin and will generally match other room rates available in the city area. Mindil Beach Markets and the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery are a 10-minute walk away.

The famous Darwin Sailing and Darwin Trailer Boat clubs (with low-priced good meals) are virtually opposite the motel and will welcome you.

We pride ourselves on the highest standards of customer service and genuine friendliness.

Our 25 rooms are air-conditioned (plus fans); each with en-suites; have coffee and tea making facilities; a bar fridge and televisions. Wireless broadband internet access is provided. The salt-water swimming pool is the perfect place to relax after a day of sight-seeing. There is a well-equipped communal kitchen.

From Darwin International Airport, 1 Henry Wrigley Drive. Head north on Henry Wrigley Dr toward Abala Rd

Follow McMillans Rd, Bagot Rd and National Highway 1 to Gregory St in Parap. Continue on Gregory St. Drive to Kellaway St in Fannie Bay. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Gregory St and Turn right onto Kellaway St
